Bangalore: IT industry veteran Ashok Soota, Chairman & MD of Happiest Minds Technologies Private Ltd., launched a contest to create a logo for his new venture. In what is possibly the first crowd sourced exercise to create a corporate logo in India, this contest provides a great opportunity for emerging artists, graphic designers, and happy people of all walks  and ages to showcase their abilities and contribute a logo that represents the mission, values and vision of Happiest Minds.

The submitted logos will be showcased on and the public invited to vote for the design they feel most accurately captures the vision of Happiest Minds.  The jury will then examine the most popular logos and select one that meets the criteria of relevance, uniqueness, and memorability.

 The Happiest Minds jury comprises of eminent members such R. Sridhar, Founder IdeasRS, Geetha Narayanan, Founder-Director, Srishti School of Art Design and Technology, Rukmini Krishnaswamy, Director, Spastic Society and Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer. Ashok Soota, will chair the jury.

 “The creation can be an image, a scribble, a visual suggestion, a photograph or anything that can be transformed into a visual brand identity. Any logo submitted should be simple but captivating, and clearly recognizable”, stated Ashok Soota, Chairman & MD, Happiest Minds Technologies Private Limited. “I want people from diverse backgrounds to contribute to Happiest Minds”.

 The contest is open to everyone, including children. In addition to the artistic exposure, the winner of this prestigious challenge will receive a cash reward of US $2000**.
